Corrin Mart Report

These AA weighed 350kgs and made €820 this week at Corrin Mart.

A definite air of positivity was to be enjoyed at the mart this week. Spring has sprung, grass growing, cattle are starting to be released from their winter enclosures and plenty of spring/summer grazing buyers are raising their virtual hands in Corrin Mart this week.

In normal times, the rings in Corrin would be a sight to behold this week, buyers jostling for the best vantage point and many hands being raised for each lot. A good week in early March is worth a fortune, numbers of cattle being offered for sale increases each week and the fine weather and early grass ensures a lively trade.

The only difference this year was the absence of the crowd but everything else remained the same. Trade for all lots was extremely lively with every lot having many different bidders ‘pressing that button’ and lighting up the screen!

We also want to offer our assistance to any prospective buyers that may be having difficulty with the latest technology. We have a few different options for people that cannot buy cattle using the app. So please don’t hesitate to contact us at Corrin and we will ensure that you will have the cattle bought for you.

As mentioned earlier, trade for bullocks and heifers was extremely strong this week and we have an incredible amount of buyers and enquiries looking for cattle over the next few weeks.

These Friesan Bullocks weighed 460kgs and made €880 at Corrin this week.
