Cork County and City Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs) are delighted to support 50 local businesses at this year’s Local Enterprise Zone during the highly anticipated Cork Summer Show which takes place on June 14th and 15th at the Cork Showgrounds, Curraheen.

The Local Enterprise Zone will be home to a vibrant hub of innovation, creativity, and community, offering a platform for LEO supported clients to showcase and sell their products and services. Visitors can expect a diverse range of offerings from local entrepreneurs including craft, wellbeing, fashion, services, photography, homeware, food samples and gifts.
The initiative underscores the ongoing commitment of Cork’s Local Enterprise Offices to foster entrepreneurship and support small businesses, helping them reach new audiences and grow sustainably.

Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Joe Carroll welcomed the initiative, stating: “The Cork Summer Show is one of the largest and most loved events in the county, and it’s heartening to see our Local Enterprise Offices using this platform to champion local talent. These 50 businesses represent some of the very best of Cork’s Entrepreneurial spirit, and I look forward to seeing their creativity and ambition on full display.”

Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr Dan Boyle, also praised the programme, saying: “Cork City continues to thrive because of its vibrant business community, and initiatives like the Local Enterprise Zone at the Cork Summer Show offer real and tangible support to local businesses. The collaboration between city and county LEOs highlights the unified effort to help our local economy grow.”

The Local Enterprise Zone will be open to the public throughout the weekend, offering visitors a chance to meet the makers, sample local produce and support the thriving local business community that is the backbone to Cork’s economy.
