Growing happy at Conna Nursing and Convalescent Home
The news that the Conna water reservoir is to go to tender was warmly welcomed by local councillors at a recent meeting of the Northern Area Committee. Katherine Walshe told the meeting that the works in Conna are expected to be completed within the next year.
Cllr Frank O’Flynn said that the people of Conna have been waiting for this for a number of years and that the water reservoir is good news for the future development of Conna.
It was also welcomed by Cllr Noel McCarthy, who added that residents should be notified if there will be any breaks or disturbances to their water supply while works are ongoing.
