Residential care home operator Aperee, has taken over management of Conna Nursing Home.
As of Monday of this week, Aperee has taken management of the home along with six others in counties Cork, Kerry, Kilkenny, and Galway, previously operated by the Ditchley Group.
Paul Kingston, CEO of Aperee welcomed on board the members of the Ditchley team and thanked them for their hard work to date.
The announcement of the change of management will have no impact on the day to day operation of Conna Nursing Home.
“Our aim will always be to ensure the best possible care is provided to our residents and we look forward to working with all the hard working staff in the homes in continuing to deliver these objective,” Mr Kingston added
Aperee now operates a total of 499 beds across nine homes and is funded through the Blackbee Healthcare Fund, which is the largest dedicated nursing home fund in Ireland.
On behalf of the Blackbee Healthcare Fund, Aperee is currently negotiating with a number of other nursing home operators on potential acquisitions while also seeking planning permission for a number of new developments in Munster.
The Blackbee Healthcare fund previously announced plans for the acquisition of 1,100 existing beds, along with plans to construct 600 new state of the art single ensuite beds.
