Having secured a 30-day license from the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, Community Radio Kildorrery (CRK 87.9 FM) continues to broadcast throughout the Avondhu area from the Community Office, Main Street, Kildorrery.

Since the station first hit the airwaves in July during the festival weekend in the village, it has grown and maintained a steady listenership due to in no small part to its mix of lively chat and varied music.
