The team from Coláiste an Chraoibhín in Fermoy, who recently progressed to the national final in the F1 in Schools Technology Challenge, are keeping their heads down and working hard on their entry to have it ready to face the tough competition they know lies ahead.

They were one of 15 teams who battled it out in Cork Institute of Technology on Tuesday last for a chance to compete in the final, which takes place in Dublin Castle on May 2nd. Coláiste's ‘Team Dolfin’ was the only junior team to progress.

There's a lot at stake. The national winning team will go on to represent Ireland in the World Championships to take place in the renowned location of Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi and compete against over 40 other countries from around the world. As well as this once in a lifetime trip, winning teams will also be presented with cash prizes and more. Best of luck to all concerned.
