By simultaneously renewing its Berlingo Van, Dispatch and Relay models, Citroën intends to further strengthen its solid market positions in 2024. Citroën has always partnered professionals in their daily lives.
From the 2CV van to the Berlingo Van, the brand has always been committed to breaking with convention, making mobility affordable for all companies, meeting all their needs, and helping them to grow their business. Whether you’re a solo tradesman, an SME or a multinational, Citroën has the solution and the expertise to meet your needs.
The launch of this refreshed line-up includes an extensive and diversified range that reflects Citroën’s values: exceptional on-board ergonomics and an ingenious design that makes the most of every useful cubic centimetre.
A benchmark in the van market, Berlingo Van adopts Citroën’s new brand signature with a starting price of €27,770. Exterior styling on the new Berlingo Van adopts the brand’s latest design, with a more upright front end that has been completely redeveloped – from the radiator grille to the bumper and headlamps.
The result is that the Berlingo Van’s look has more character, underlining its dynamism and robustness. New Berlingo Van also inherits a new colour to highlight its intriguing design – Kiama Blue.
The passenger compartment has been redesigned and now features a new, more ergonomic dashboard. The quality of the finish has also been improved. LX Plus models receive My Citroën Drive Plus combined with a high-definition 10-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration.
Rear visibility via the reversing camera including top rear vision is available on Enterprise models. A new ergonomic steering wheel proudly displays Citroën’s new logo, while enhanced driver safety features support the driver.
Available as standard on all three trim levels, LX Plus, Enterprise and Enterprise Plus, New Berlingo Van includes Advanced Emergency Braking, Electronic Stability Control, ABS, Driver Attention Assist 3 (DAA3) and both driver and passenger front, side and curtain airbags.
The New Berlingo Van retains the modularity and load volume that made its predecessor such a success. It will continue to be available with a 3-seat bench and in two lengths (MWB – 4.40 m, and LWB – 4.75 m) for all engine types. It has a total capacity of up to 4.40 m3 and a payload of up to 1 tonne (780 kg for the electric version).
Starting at €36,195, New Citroën Dispatch features a new front end, with an optimised bumper for enhanced design and aerodynamics, new LED headlamps and a completely new radiator grille that incorporates the brand’s new signature. The elegant new dashboard features a new design and inserts, it’s also more practical.
The size of existing storage compartments has been increased and new ones have been added. The steering wheel is new, with various integrated controls (cruise control, telephone, radio). Numerous safety attributes now come as standard on Dispatch such as Automatic Emergency Braking with forward collision warning, Driver Attention Assist (DAA3), ASR, ABS with driver and front passenger airbags.
The New Citroën Dispatch will be available in two lengths, MWB (4.98m) and LWB (5.33m). It has a useful volume of up to 6.6m3 and a payload of up to 1275 kg, depending on the version. With a turning circle of 11.3m, it is suitable for all uses. And its new look makes it even more attractive.
The front end of the New Citroën Relay has been redesigned to further reinforce the model’s strong personality, while improving its aerodynamic characteristics. The bumper, radiator grille (now the same colour as the bodywork) and rear-view mirrors have been redesigned with this in mind.
The black lower section has been reinforced to further enhance the vehicle’s impact protection. More elegant, the new LED headlamps are also 30% more efficient than their halogen predecessors. The rear lights have also been given a new design.
In the passenger compartment, the new Relay’s dashboard has been redesigned to offer improved ergonomics and a more elegant style, with a new digital instrument cluster and large central screen. The steering wheel, gearbox controls and door trim have also been upgraded.
The new Citroën Relay is available in a wide range of configurations to meet all the needs of professionals. With two wheelbases available (3.45 m and 4.04 m), the panel vans come in three lengths (L2, L3 and L4) and 3 heights (H1, H2 and H3) with a total of 6 different body styles featuring volumes of 10 to 17 m3. To serve as a basis for special conversions, the new Relay with its 4.04 m wheelbase will also be available in L3 or L4 single cab chassis, and L3 or L4 double cab chassis. Relay now starts at €35,295.
Citroën Managing Director, Colin Sheridan commented: “It is exciting to see a refresh of the Citroën light commercial line-up for 2024. New Citroën Berlingo, Dispatch and Relay proves to be a welcome evolution of the range by our Citroën dealer network and customers alike.
“The ever-popular Berlingo Van remains in the top 5 vans in Ireland in 2024, I have no doubt this refresh will only accelerate its growth. All models are now available to test drive at Citroën dealerships nationwide.”
