‘Christmas by Candlelight’ in Sraharla church in the parish of Kildorrery will take place next Wednesday night, December 19th at 7.30pm.
The event is hosted by Sraharla Church Choir & Community and they will be joined again this year by pupils from Glenahulla National School.
This year the choir will also be joined by members of Cross Keys, Denis O’Dwyer and Mairead O’Brien, who will perform some reflective instrumental pieces.
‘Christmas by Candlelight’ promises to be just that, the story of Christmas being told along with a wonderful seasonal selection of hymns and carols all under the comforting glow of candlelight.
This event, in conjunction with Fr Eamonn Kelleher is a real community effort with various members of the church rota and locality all lending a helping hand.
The choir, under the direction of Eileen Harrington, would like to welcome you to what is sure to set the atmosphere for Christmas, don’t forget to bring a cushion.
