A chemistry magic show open to the public takes place in University College Cork (UCC) on this Friday, 15 November as part of National Science Week. All are welcome (with prebooked free tickets, see below) at 7.30pm in lecture theatre G1 of the Kane Building in UCC ahead of what will be a mesmerising display of magic from UCC’s Dr Declan Kennedy.
The annual shows aim to spark an interest amongst the general public in chemistry and science, and are well-known by secondary school students all over Munster in particular (for video example, see http://www.ucc.ie/en/news/fullstory-392765-en.html).
Admission to the Chemistry Magic Show is free but strictly by ticket only on a first-come-first-served basis. Tickets may be requested by sending an e-mail to Mr Brendan Fanning brendanrupertfanning@gmail.com. Pre-ordered tickets may be collected at the door.
