There has been a change of date for the annual ‘Christmas by Candlelight’ concert in Shraharla Church this year. It will now take place next Monday night, December 18 at 8pm.
The event is hosted by Shraharla Church Choir & Community and they are joined again this year by pupils from Glenahulla National School.
This magical event was a resounding success last year and the choir would like you to join them for this festive family occasion.
‘Christmas by Candlelight’ promises to be just that, the story of Christmas being told along with a wonderful seasonal selection of hymns and carols, all under the comforting glow of candlelight.
This event, in conjunction with Fr Eamonn Kelleher, is a real community effort with various members of the church rota and locality, all lending a helping hand.
The choir, under the direction of Eileen Harrington, would like to welcome you to this festive line up which is sure to set the atmosphere for Christmas.
Don’t forget to bring a cushion for your comfort. We hope to see you there as this promises to be a memorable night.
