Chad McQueen, son of Steve, is a man with Mustang in his blood.
Chad is a film actor, producer and race car driver and during the week of April 18, he will be indulging in his passion for Mustang by driving one of the first Irish registered Mustang models around Ireland.
In conjunction with the Dermot and Dave Show on TodayFM, Chad will be embarking on a round Ireland trip that will take in Galway, Limerick, Killarney, Cork and Waterford.
Chad will be driving a Mustang 5.0 litre V8 with the power of 416 horses (or 416PS). The all new Ford Mustang has only recently arrived in Ireland, available in right-hand-drive mode for the first time since the iconic nameplate was launched back in 1964.
“For me, there is something about a Mustang that is so timeless. You put your hands on the wheel and look out over that classic dash and hood, and listen to that unmistakable V8 rumble – it’s the feeling of freedom and the open road,” said Chad as he looks forward to his visit to Ireland. “I can’t wait to take it out for a trip around Ireland’s roads.”
Chad and his Mustang will be stopping at outside broadcasts of the Dermot and Dave Show in Galway (Tuesday April 19); Limerick (Wednesday April 20); and Cork (Thursday April 21) – tune into the Dermot and Dave Programme during the week for more details (12 noon to 14.30hrs weekdays).
