Management and staff at Amberley Nursing Home & Retirement Cottages held their Christmas party on Saturday last. Proprietors, Liam and Pauline Fitzgerald were excellent hosts as they laid on food and provided music for residents, their families and other guests.

It was an extremely busy afternoon for staff, who, as usual, did a great job. Musicians, Willie Kearney and Dick O'Brien along with Liadán and Martha Dunlea provided the musical accompaniment. Those who were so inclined took to the floor and numerous individuals sang when called upon. The building's interior was beautifully decorated and there was a real festive feel to proceedings.

Opened in 2005 Amberley Nursing Home continues to provide an outstanding level of care for those seeking either, respite, short term or long term care. The retirement cottages, which are adjacent to the nursing home, allow for independent living while providing the peace of mind associated with top class nursing care.

Staff at Amberley encourage visiting and it was great to see so many family and friends sharing time with loved ones in such comfortable and inviting surroundings. Anyone with queries on any aspect of the home or retirement cottages is welcome to contact 025-40900 alternatively the website can be visited www.amberleyhome.ie
