Cavanaghs of Mallow was this week announced as the newest dealer within the Suzuki network in Ireland. The north-Cork dealership opened its doors in 2026 as a fully-branded Suzuki dealer becoming the new name in Munster for popular models such as the Swift, Vitara and S-Cross.
The Cavanaghs name has been synonymous with Ford for decades and will continue to operate under the Ford umbrella in Mallow as an Authorised Repairer. The appointment of Cavanaghs as a Suzuki dealer brings to 25 the number of Suzuki sites now spread throughout the Republic of Ireland and emphasises how popular the brand has become amongst the Irish motoring public.
James Foley is the Managing Director of the wider Cavanaghs Group and will be the Dealer Principal of Cavanaghs of Mallow Suzuki. Cavanaghs will represent the Suzuki brand across the territory of North Cork.
Cavanaghs was established by the late Dr Tom Cavanagh almost 60 years ago and today represents Ford passenger & commercial vehicles from its base in Charleville along with BYD, and now Suzuki in Mallow.
