In the lead up to the Christmas concert in Castletownroche community centre, students from Castletownroche NS had been practicing for weeks and their hard work paid off, as families, staff and people from the community had a thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable night thanks to the young performers. 

The students were very excited and had been really looking forward to the night. 

A lot of preparation went into each aspect of the show with a mixture of nativity scenes, contemporary interpretations of Christmas and performances of songs, poems and music, while the classes from second to sixth class also delivered a wonderful group tin whistle performance.
