In a novel move by the officers of Araglin Carnival committee, an extensive survey was conducted to identify ways of improving the format and organisation of this long running festival. 

Surveys were delivered to every house in the Araglin catchment and according to carnival personnel, most have been returned.

The surveys will now be independently assessed before the findings are made public at a regular meeting scheduled for Monday, November 13 in Araglin Hall at 9pm.

All going according to plan, these findings will be formally adopted at the carnival AGM which takes place on Monday, December 11 at 8.30pm. 

The carnival has no membership policy which means all their meetings are open to the public and officers are currently engaged in a recruitment drive aimed at all age groups.
