A major exhibition of items connected with the life and times of Canon Sheehan was held in Nagle Rice Secondary School from Monday, October 21 to Thursday, October 24. This exhibition afforded staff and students, as well as members of the public, with a fantastic opportunity to view material relating to Canon Sheehan's life and his comprehensive body of work.

Of particular interest to history students, as well as those from Doneraile itself, was the Doneraile of Canon Sheehan's era including a selection of photographs from the AH Jones Collection housed at the Cork city and county archives, showing the Doneraile of Canon Sheehan's era.

Rare first editions of many of Canon Sheehan's novels, including five translations of 'My New Curate', original handwritten manuscripts, contemporary archival material from both the Doneraile Convent and Canon Sheehan archives. Nagle Rice are particularly grateful to Nora O'Callaghan for the many fascinating presentations she made to class groups during the week, bringing the whole exhibition to life for the students.
