A history of Galtee Castle at Skeheenarinky between Cahir and Mitchelstown
A reader from England with Kilworth/Fermoy connections is hoping that someone will know who these people are. The reader states as follows:
A young woman from the Fermoy area is supposed to be the daughter of these two people and was called Eadie (not sure of spelling). We know she married someone with the surname Rose and unconfirmed is the tale that the man she married died, then she married his brother. We can't however, confirm this story. Sadly Eadie had no children of her own and we know of no brothers or sisters. When we knew Eadie, she lived in London and her good friend was called Rita. Eadie died a few years ago and Rita's son was given this photo as a memento but no further information was given with it. Can anyone name and date these lovely people and is the photo any good to anyone as an addition to their ancestral searches and records?
Yours hopefully,
Fran and Mick Cohen
