Student Council reps. from C.B.S. Primary in Mitchelstown presented a cheque for €800 to Michelle Cooke towards funding for the BUMBLEance, the children’s ambulance service. Michelle's nephew, Michael Butler has availed of its services on numerous occasions.

BUMBLEance, the children’s ambulance service, provides stress reducing journeys for children in state-of-the-art, safe and fun vehicles. The bright and fun exterior makes a positive first impression which carries through to the interior. BUMBLEance has it all - social media streaming to wish the child best wishes, WiFi, games console and DVD for a favourite movie/game (or select one on-board). While there are also the traditional ‘distractions’ of reading/colouring books, etc.!

The child friendly decorated interior of BUMBLEance has many unique features. Two parents/carers can travel with the child and paramedic. An on-board locker for personal effects is provided along with a fridge for medication/food, etc.

The student council at C.B.S. Primary, Mitchelstown raised this money through a table quiz, Easter egg hunt and raffle, which they organised and ran for all the boys at the school.
