Fermoy rower, Brigid Mahon is bound for the Coupe de la Jeunesse, where she will be rowing for Ireland over two days this weekend – Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26 – in Lucerne, Switzerland.
Ray Morrison, Brigid’s coach at Fermoy Rowing Club, said that all at the club are delighted to see the young rower compete for Ireland.
“We’re very pleased and we wish her all the best for the weekend. This is something that she fully deserves for all the work she had put in, not just this year, but over the last five years,” Mr Morrison said.
