A fun day was had by all on Saturday last, as Tim and Meg Luddy of Supermac's, Mitchelstown, marked the one year anniversary of Papa Johns with delicious food, games, face painting, balloon art and even a visit from Santa.

Throughout the afternoon, there was music from DJ Pat Ronan, a lovely cake made by mother and son Ellen and Andrew Fitzgibbon, complimentary gifts, fun and games and the Mitchelstown footballers brought the county cup along on the day, which caused great excitement amongst adults and children alike.

Meg and Tim thanked all of their customers for their loyal support, all of the local businesses who have supported them and they employ 20 staff members, who they wanted to thank for all of their hard work and dedication.

Meg said that while opening up Papa Johns was something new, people embraced it and their support from customers and people from the community has been amazing.

She added that the fun day was also a nice way to say thank you and give something back before Christmas.
