Glanworth Players are on the countdown to their upcoming production of 'Big Maggie' by John B Keane, the popular family saga that is being directed by Bernard Gallagher.

The play centres around Maggie Polpin and her family after the recent death of her husband. Each one of her children have their hopes and dreams dashed as their mother tells them how things are going to be run from now on: “I have a farm and shop to run, and they will be run profitably or not run at all.”

The scene is set from the start and where it ends is anybody’s guess!

So come and join us in the newly refurbished Glanworth Community Centre. Shows are on Saturday 17th and Sunday, 18th Jan, 2015 and again on the following Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
