Location of large road signs criticised
Repairs to the previously badly potholed road adjoining Bellview Cross in Fermoy have been welcomed by local councillors. Councillor Tadhg O’Donovan said he and his colleague, Councillor Noel McCarthy, had lobbied Cork County Council to have the L97220 road repaired as it was in an awful state. Residents had long complained about its potholed and pitted surface. “We welcome the resurfacing works and thank the council for carrying them out,” Councillor O’Donovan told The Avondhu.
