This Thursday sees the London based Godot Company return to Kilmallock with ‘Happy Days’ by Samuel Beckett. ‘Happy Days’ is the third of Beckett’s great comic/tragic full length plays on the human condition – ‘Waiting for Godot’ and ‘Endgame’ being the others. On Friday, 21st February, We Banjo 3 visit Friars’ Gate as part of a Music Network Tour. Featuring 3 tenor banjos, fiddle, mandolins, guitars, banjolin and vocals, the group combine Irish music with Old-Time American, Ragtime and Bluegrass to produce an exciting, fun, invigorating sound guaranteed to thrill audiences.

Tenor banjoist Enda Scahill teams up with Ireland’s hottest young banjo players, brothers Martin and David Howley. With over 10 All-Ireland titles to their name, Martin and David bring scintillating rhythm, verve and innovation to their music. Add in the worldclass multi-instrumentalist Fergal Scahill on fiddle, guitar and bodhran and the whole melting pot comes alight!
