Barnane and Glenabo improvements finally completed

Cork County Council has confirmed that works on Barnane Walk and Trail and Glenabo Woods are now officially completed.

The works to the trail, which form part of the idyllic Blackwater Way, included a series of upgrades such as pathway improvements, fencing, landscaping and the installation of new steel pedestrian bridges to help ensure safe and convenient crossing.

Extensive improvement works and repairs to the historic stone wall along the Barnane Walk have also been completed to ensure its preservation for future generations.
