A Ballylanders woman is leading a revolution in a new way to produce a play with actors from across the globe.
Tzarini Meyler, 24, grew up in Skibereen but moved to live with her family near Mitchelstown. As she recovered from jaw surgery in January the Covid-19 pandemic hit, the actor and artistic director of Lip Zinc Theatre decided to find a way to make art.
She launched a mission to make Talking Icons, using 24 actors from across the world – performing on the screen rather than the boards of a traditional stage.
The talented artist utilised Zoom to record each segment that tells unique stories that will resonate will the audience as it portraits all of our experiences during lockdown.
