There will be hair flying this Easter Sunday, as seven men from Ballylanders will be shaving their heads to raise money for The Irish Cancer Society. The event will take place in Gallahue’s Bar in Ballylanders on Sunday night at 9.30pm and all support would be greatly appreciated.

Those taking part include Tom Tae Fox, Stephen Fox, Pa Fox, Michael O’Brien, Sean Coffey, Andy Coughlan and James Kirby, with the event being organised because many people from the community have been affected by cancer recently and it is a cause close to the hearts of many.

The organiser, Tom Tae Fox would like to thank James Keating, the manager of Gallahue’s Bar for hosting the event, all of the people taking part, and Catriona Ryan of Edges Hair Salon, who will be getting the scissors and razors ready for the night.

There will be music on the night by Just Push Play and with whacky hairstyles like devil horns, the monk, mohican, helicopter pads and runway strips on display instead of the lads’ usual hairstyles, this is a night not to be missed and all support would be greatly appreciated.
