Cycling Ireland are holding the National Downhill Biking Championships in Ballyhoura this Saturday and Sunday, July 26th and 27th.
The event is being hosted by Limerick Mountain Bike Club’s Chris O’Callaghan in conjunction with Ballyhoura Trailriders Ltd. and is the first time the national downhill championships will be held outside of Leinster.
Practice will begin on Saturday morning (26th) and seeding will begin Saturday afternoon from 1.45pm until 4pm. Sunday will see more practice in the morning, before launching into the final race at 1.45pm with the fastest riders qualifying from Saturday.
