The Ballyhoura Country Tidy Towns Awards in 2014 is in its 23rd year with over 35 entrants competing for 6 prizes.
Prizes are awarded based on improvements in marks received in the national competition year on year. This year the event will be held in the town of Castleconnell in the Castle Oaks Hotel on Thursday, June 26th. Starting at 7.15pm.
The night will involve a talk by Veronica Santorum of the Limericks Buzzing project, presentation of awards, refreshments and a walk of Castleconnell tidy town’s projects led by Castleconnell Tidy Towns group. All tidy towns groups are encouraged to attend.
