As previously announced, Anglesboro Community Council will host a 10k Road Race on 28th June. This can also be a jog or walk and we invite all surrounding clubs, groups and walkers to participate and make this a great success.

Registration will be at Anglesboro Community Hall from 7pm with the race starting at 8pm sharp. The route is accurately measured and can be viewed on our facebook page www.facebook.com/Borowalkers.

There will be category prizes, spot prizes and refreshments on the night and also Anglesboro Community Council will present the J J Keane Memorial Perpetual Cup to the first runner home.

This series of road races and walks are running successfully with the past number of years and are a great way to go about getting out there and getting fit and active.

The series began on Friday 31st May in Doneraile Park with a 5k race where over 450 runners ran on the night. This number had increased from last year and with a record of 3,500 participants for the complete series last year this shows that the Ballyhoura Series is on the way up already this year.
