Clubs and organisations within The Avondhu catchment area were this week awarded a total of €402,018 through the Sports Capital Programme.

Clubs and organisations within The Avondhu catchment area were this week awarded a total of €402,018 through the Sports Capital Programme.

The local grants awarded ranged from €2,500 up to €75,000 with both Ballysaggart GAA and Ballyhooly Community Sportsfield Ltd. being granted over €70,000 each.

A further four recipients were awarded more than €30,000 and the rest of the allocations varied in amounts under €30,000.
