The first step in preparations for Fermoy Musical Society’s new show ‘Crazy for You’ begins with auditions on Tuesday next, January 29, taking place at Fermoy Youth Centre at 7.30pm. Musical Director Deirdre Long and show Director Brian Flynn will be on hand to put people through their paces.

Anyone with singing or dancing ability who thinks they’d like to be part of the show is invited to turn up for the auditions on Tuesday next. There is a requirement, for this show, that people be over 18.

After their sell-out success with last year’s production of the very popular ‘Carousel’ the society is turning to the romantic musical ‘Crazy for You’ which features music by Gershwin. ‘Things are looking up’ and ‘Someone to watch over me’ are among the memorable musical numbers from the show. Opening in late April, it will have a seven-night run.
