A 25-year-old man is helping Gardai with their enquiries into an incident after he left the scene having struck a parked car in Mitchelstown.
The incident occurred at Church Road in Mitchelstown at 10pm on Saturday night last. The man’s vehicle was discovered several miles away by gardai. An attempt had been made to set fire to the car and it had sustained burn damage.
The man is due to appear in court on January 3rd.
