Araglin team compete in junior international

The Araglin racquetball players have put in a great effort under head coach, Mick Cunningham and we wish the team every success in the junior international which is being staged in St Joseph’s Community Centre, Bishopswater in Wexford from Wednesday 24th to Sunday, 28th July.

This week marks the start of a great adventure for the 5 strong Araglin racquetball team who will compete in the junior international which is being staged in St Joseph’s Community Centre, Bishopswater in Wexford.

The tournament runs from Wednesday 24th to Sunday, 28th July. The Araglin team comprises: Jack Kearney (All-Ireland U10 B champion), Ben Carey (1 wall All-Ireland U10 A champion), Darragh O’Donoghue (All-Ireland novice champion), U12 player, Paul Hynes and the youngest member of the squad U8 Sean Óg O’Doherty. Competitors are being accompanied by their parents and team officials. The tournament has attracted entries from as far away as Bolivia and Venezuela.

The Araglin players have put in a great effort under head coach, Mick Cunningham and we wish the team every success.

The club wishes to thank Sean O’Doherty who carried out repairs to the racquetball court in Araglin last weekend.
