Dear Sir,

In 2002 ‘The Araglen Album’ was launched and went on to sell over 700 copies, raising over €7,000 for local charities. The album was sold to people as far away as Australia, New Zealand and the US. Now in 2013 we are preparing to launch the ‘Araglen Album 2’ with 10 new singers. The new album will be launched on May 18th in Araglen Community Centre.

As in 2002, we are looking for sponsorship to fund the recording of the album. We are calling on any local businesses or individuals who would like to come on board as a sponsor to contact the undersigned. We understand that times are different now and that money isn’t as available as it was in 2002 and therefore have decided to send our appeal out through your newspaper rather than contacting people personally. We would greatly appreciate any funding we receive. All money raised on the sale of the album will go towards further developing the community centre.
