A pair of cast iron bird baths, just one of the many attractive items at the Edward Walsh auction on Sunday, November 2, in The Firgrove Hotel.

This weekend, there is a fantastic auction in The Firgrove Hotel in Mitchelstown featuring a number of antiques and some top end furniture that would add greatly to any home or collection.

Edward Walsh's auction takes place on Sunday, November 2 at 2.30pm and will feature items from the estate of the late Mrs McCarthy, Upper Cork Street, Mitchelstown and other prominent clients.

There will be more than 300 lots on the day and items can be viewed from Saturday, November 1 from 7-9pm and from 10am on the Sunday until the auction starts at 2.30pm.

There is a variety of items from lavish furniture to smaller ornaments and garden pieces. Some of the items of interest include a Victorian mahogony round table, two Georgian mahogony hand painted grandfather clocks, Victorian hall chairs, bedroom furniture and much more.
