Annie’s Restaurant in Fermoy has re-opened under new management this week, with chef Bridget Bonner assuming ownership of the popular bistro.

Since closing unexpectedly last week, Ms Bonner made the decision to take over the restaurant, located along MacCurtain Street in the town, and work was undertaken to have the business re-opened as soon as possible again.

The premises has been revamped, with both the exterior and interior freshly painted, and the layout of the restaurant altered. Presently the restaurant employs six people.

Ms Bonner, who has been a full-time staff member for over two years, told The Avondhu: “Hopefully we will get plenty custom, we hope our regular customers will return and new customers will be made. The menu is changing, we’ll have nice food and there will be price reductions across the menu too.”
