Anglesboro National School children got their mid-term break off to a ghostly start last Friday night as the Parents' Association held a Hallowe’en disco in the village hall. A frighteningly great time was had by all who joined us for this now annual event.

We had the most amazing costumes on display from the fiercest to the prettiest, all ages danced their little socks off to the brilliant resident DJ, Shane Ryan, a man of many talents, right down to dancing ‘Gangnam Style’.

We want to thank all the children for coming and bringing their families to join us, we thank Anglesboro Community Council for the use of the hall on the night. A special word of thanks to Noel and Pat for decorating the hall for us.

On Friday, 1st November, the monthly Anglesboro bingo night takes place and this will be a fundraising event for the school parents' association.

On Sunday, November 17th a fun-run/walk will be held in the village also and refreshments will be available in the hall afterwards, Adults €10 and children are free. More about this next week.
