Anglesboro increase 12 marks in 2013 Tidy Towns

Great strides are being made in Anglesboro, South Limerick in the national Tidy Towns competition, with a jump of 12 points being recorded for the second successive year.

The Anglesboro Tidy Towns Committee were this week expressing their delight at their increase of 12 points in the marking for the competition, now for the second year in a row.

In this, their third year of being involved, they now stand on an impressive 269 points and chairperson Mary Gordon thanked all of the volunteers who helped out with various projects during the year. She also congratulated Emly, Ardpatrick and Galbally on their awards, saying that places like these are an inspiration to all Tidy Towns’ entrants.

Mary added that new members are always welcome to the committee and anyone who is interested can come along to the meetings, details of which will be posted on the Anglesboro Tidy Towns Facebook page in the coming weeks and months. Well done to all concerned
