An oasis of relaxation recently opened in Fermoy as Ballyhooly local, Magdalena Szymkowska-Polak brings the art of Swedish and holistic massage to the town.

Located at 63 Patrick Street, amidst the hustle and bustle of the busy town, a moment of peace for long-lasting relaxation awaits at Fermoy Massage Therapy with a host of different treatments on offer.

“In response to the growing demand for places of solace and relaxation, my studio offers a unique fusion of therapeutic and relaxing massage techniques honed over years of practice.

“Whether you are seeking relief from muscle discomfort or desire a moment of serenity, my treatments are customised to provide a personal experience. I take pride in tailoring each session to meet the individual client needs ensuring a truly personalised experience,” Magdalena told The Avondhu.

For those needing a time-out on their lunch break to unwind, or for those seeking a lengthier session to soothe the body’s aches and pains, Fermoy Massage Therapy can help.

From Indian head massages for those seeking some tension relief, foot massages for those spending all day on their feet and full body massages for those needing a more intensive treatment for aching bodies, all are available now on the town’s main street.

“With my signature face and head massage, I offer a luxurious and non-invasive treatment that focuses on bringing you total relaxation and rejuvenation. Specialized massage techniques combined with soothing strokes help you unwind and de-stress. Treat yourself to this truly indulgent experience and take a moment to pamper yourself. You deserve it,” Magdalena said.

Magdalena, who has been living in Ireland for almost 20 years now, began her journey in the world of massage in Poland where she received fundamental training in Swedish massage therapy which laid the groundwork for her career.

In Ireland, the mother of two embarked on a new chapter of her life, delving deeper into the art of holistic massage.

Through her dedication and hard work, she obtained a distinction grade in her exams, earning the esteemed title of Holistic Massage Therapist.

“I was waiting six weeks for my diploma to come after passing my exams. I knew I did well, but I promised myself if I got the highest grades, I would open my own studio, so when I saw my grades, I knew it was meant to be.

“It’s a passion. I love my job. Somebody told me, ‘If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life’ and I love my job. As my grandmother used to say, ‘What’s for you won’t pass you by’ and this work, providing this peace and relaxation for clients, is meant for me,” Magdalena said.

Offering locals a chance to refresh and revive their mind and body through Swedish and holistic massage, treatments offered at the new studio bring benefits such as stress relief, improved circulation, lymphatic drainage, enhanced wellbeing, strengthening the immune system, improved joint mobility, relieve soreness and tension and most importantly a moment in the day just for you.

If you are ready to embark on a journey of self-care and rejuvenation, don’t hesitate to reach out and schedule your appointment today by call, text or WhatsApp at (089) 2600095.

“My studio warmly welcomes all clients and I’m looking forward to working with clients to melt away stress, nurturing their wellbeing and helping the people of Fermoy and beyond to discover the transformative power of therapeutic massage. It really is an oasis of relaxation in the best location,” Magdalena said.
