An evening with Catherine Fulvio in Castlelyons

Celebrity TV chef, Catherine Fulvio will draw the crowds in Castlelyons in mid November, in an event to feature a cookery demonstration.

Castlelyons National School are hosting ‘Taste of the Blackwater Valley – An evening with Catherine Fulvio’ at the Corrin Event Centre on Friday, November 14th.

It will be an evening of artisan food and crafts stalls, featuring a cookery demonstration from celebrity TV chef, Catherine Fulvio. She is an award winning author, TV chef, cookery tutor and proprietor of Ballyknocken House and Cookery School in Wicklow. She will also be signing copies of her books at the event.

There will be a complementary wine and cheese reception, sponsored by Classic Drinks and Knockanore Farmhouse Cheese, on arrival.

This event will act as a fundraiser for Castlelyons National School, where funds raised will be used to develop the schoo'sl library and enhance literacy and numeracy resources. The school is also currently building an extension.

Tickets priced at €25, can be bought at Hanley’s Newsagent, Fermoy; O’Farrell’s Butchers, Midleton; and Corrin Event Centre (025-31611). Keep an eye on future editions of The Avondhu for further details.
