Cork Foundation has appointed Áine Collins as interim CEO.

Áine is a former TD for Cork North West, who is a founder member of Cork Foundation and has over 20 years’ experience in business finance, development and strategic advisory.

The Foundation, who connects Cork network globally to support Cork people locally, has been growing from strength to strength and we look forward to continuing to promote positive social change in local communities across Cork.

We are committed to engaging with Cork people, living both in Ireland and abroad and helping them to stay connected to their Irish home.

Following the announcement, chairperson and Interim CEO Aine Collins commented, “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Padraic Vallely former CEO for all his hard work and commitment to the Foundation and to wish him every success in his new role with Social Innovation Fund Ireland. I am exciting about the future of the Cork Foundation. I look forward to engaging with our Irish community abroad and growing the organisation even further”.

Cork Foundation recently announced a partnership with Ludgate Hub in West Cork, launched the first International Community in London and has supported over 20 projects in Cork over the past year.
