Agritxt, based in Doneraile, Co. Cork, wants to help farmers and due to the suspension of Bord Bia audits for 2 months they have time to help!
Normally Agritxt helps farmers prepare for their Bord Bia audits or department inspections by completing all their paperwork for them.
In these unprecedented times, due to the restrictions at livestock marts, Agritxt wants to make farmers lives easier when moving cattle by private sale.
Agritxt are providing a cattle permit service free of charge to any farmers in Ireland who are selling cattle privately for as long as this situation continues.
To use this service a farmer can simply send the information via text, WhatsApp or ring the office. Agritxt then looks after the permit to allow the cattle move to the next herd.
