Funding has been approved for a new classroom for Adair NS in Fermoy. Minister of State at the Department of Education and Skill, Sean Sherlock, made the announcement on Wednesday.

He said he was delighted to advise that the small Church of Ireland school has been granted the additional accommodation in the form of a new 32m square resource classroom.

“The funding for Adair, coupled with the funding already secured for St Josephs, shows I am delivering on the promise to replace prefab accommodation with more permanent facilities,” he said. “We are also working continuously on the provision of a site for the Gaelsoil in Fermoy.”
