Cork East TD and Minister of State Seán Sherlock has been confirmed as the Labour candidate in the upcoming general election, taking the number of declared candidates in the constituency to an even 10.
The Mallow native was elected at the Cork East Labour selection convention last week and will be aiming to secure a third consecutive Dáil seat for the party.
