The forthcoming centenary of the 1916 Rising is manna from heaven as far as The Wolfe Tones are concerned. No surprise then that all their current promotional literature carries the legend 'On The Road To The Rising'.

In demand since the 1960s, it's reasonable to expect a spike in their popularity during the months ahead. Whether you are 'in' to this music or not, there's no doubting the staying power of an exceptionally hardworking band whose store of rebel ballads hasn't altered radically over the years.
