The Patuxent Partners bring their own style of Bluegrass music to us all the way from Maryland, USA. The group derives its name from The Patuxent river in Maryland.

They make a welcome return to The Village Arts Centre, Kilworth on Monday, 13th July at 8.15pm. They are a superb traditional Bluegrass band and they also play some great Country and Honky Tonk music.

The good news is that the Patuxent Partners will now be a six piece band (only five in picture), when they perform in Kilworth. And not just that, but the band will feature twin fiddles (a first for Kilworth) – something that will add greatly to their already superb Bluegrass sound.

The band is made up of Tom Mindte (mandolin/vocals), Bryan Deere (guitar/vocals), John Brunschwyler (banjo/vocals), Daniel Greeson and Nate Leath on fiddles and Neil Knicely (bass).

Tickets €15 from The Avondhu office, Fermoy (025-32227); Cotter’s Bar, Kilworth (025-27109 after 5pm); Hyland’s Bookshop, Mitchelstown (025-24528) or call 087-7921771 or 087-6492514.
