The Saint Joseph NS Parents Association recently held a very successful table quiz in the Grand Hotel, Fermoy, and they can take pride in their efforts to ensure that a most enjoyable night was held by all.

It is now hoped that the Parents Association will hold this quiz annually as a means of fund-raising. Well done to the Committee which is comprised of the following; chairperson Noel McCarthy; hon. sec. hon treasurers Sean Keohane and JJ Connors; committee; Jennifer O'Connor, Kevin Roche, Sharon Roche and Mary Chambers.

The Parents Association would like to thank the following for their very generous sponsorship; Amber and Dave Ryan, Brian Shinnick Spar Shop, Carry Out, Fermoy, Carmel’s Hair Salon, Centra Fermoy and the members of the Parents Association.

The last quiz of the season will be held on Monday, April 15, and in keeping with tradition, this quiz will be for the Rowing Club. The current season of quizzes began last October, no less than 26 organisations have benefited, and it is hoped that as many as possible will support the final quiz.

As the quiz will celebrate its 30th season next October, plans are already afoot to make this a very special event. Our thanks to all who have supported the quiz for so many years, Monday night in Fermoy would not be the same without the Rowing Club Quiz and the crew who run it.
