REGRETTED DEATH

The death occurred on Tuesday, 16 April peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Maria Goretti Nursing Home, Kilmallock, of a very popular local lady, Peg Foley (Spa Road and Ballyhoura Heights).

Wife of the late John Joe, she is survived by son John, daughters Chrissie and Geraldine, sons-in-law John and Dave, sister Esther, brother Joseph, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and a large circle of friends, to whom sincere sympathy is extended.

Peg was reposed at McCarthy’s Funeral Home on Thursday, 18 April before removal to St Andrew’s Church, where the requiem Mass was celebrated on Friday, 19 April. This was followed by burial in the local cemetery. May she rest in peace.

CHARITY SKYDIVE

All money raised will be going to the Foundation as she is covering the cost of the skydive herself. TENNIS COACHING

Would you like to learn a new sport in a fun and relaxed environment? Hospital Tennis Club are organising tennis coaching for new players or for those who want to refresh their tennis skills. CHURCH GATE COLLECTION

This weekend, Sat 27 and Sun 28, the Fianna Fail National Church gate collection will be taken up at Kilfinane at Masses on Saturday and Sunday.
