Galbally Community Enterprise Association announced this week that they are getting a new FAS scheme and will be taking on two people to work from July 1 until the end of June 2014.

Jim Fitzgerald explained that they are looking for a general operative to maintain Knockarron and Galbally village to a high standard and to provide support to the Tidy Towns projects and Duntrileague works.

They are also seeking a caretaker to maintain the community centre to a high standard, wash and clean the building weekly, carry out minor repairs and cater on a small scale, providing, tea, coffee or soups to small groups.
