The CBS Primary Parent's Council held their AGM recently on September 25 and new members for the 2013/2014 committee were elected. The organisers thanked all those who attended and those who kindly provided refreshments.

On the night, Tom O'Donoghue, Roisin Keane and Jackie Hanrahan read out reports and the Chairperson of the Board of Management, Martin Kelly addressed the meeting, followed by the Principal Mary O'Callaghan.

They both praised the work of the Parent's Council over the past year and said that the partnership between staff and parents is very important, as they look forward to working with the new committee.

The new members elected were: Tom O’Donoghue (Chairperson), Jackie Hanrahan (Treasurer), Mary Cleary (Secretary), Donna O’Donnell (PRO), Mary McNamara (Vice Secretary), Nicola Morrissey (Vice PRO), Catherine Breathnach, Ursula Keane (Vice Treasurer), Jane O’Shea (Vice Chair), Jill Flynn, Joan King and Pamela O’Sullivan.
